Twisting Culture is a celebration of the diversity found in the Leather Culture throughout the northeast alternative sex-positive community! We feel strongly about making space for and giving a voice to people who live their kink, their way. This is a place for anyone who has a way of being that's all their own: you qualify as-is, in full. Define sexy your way.
Please join us Saturday February 6, 2027 for an afternoon of socializing, refreshments, cocktails, and shopping as we get ready for an exciting show! We're gathering to celebrate the fabulous people of the Northeast and discover who will be the 2027 Northeast Person of Leather.

This happened Jan. 29th, 2026, when the bomb cyclone
hit Baltimore...
Out of care for our communities, Twisting Culture shifted the contest to an online venue. Baltimore was still struggling to recover from a major storm when an incoming bomb cyclone threatened the region. Although limited travel might have been possible, conditions were extremely hazardous—roads were narrowed or closed, parking and sidewalks were unusable, and overall travel posed significant risk.
Despite these challenges, we successfully transformed the contest into a dynamic and engaging virtual experience while preserving the integrity of every category. Our board, staff, contestants, and tally team all worked together to ensure a smooth, coordinated transition.
Supporters from across the country were able to join us online and cheer on our contestants! We delivered a great show, complete with live auctions, helping to ensure a healthy travel fund for the next NEPoL! AND.... we had a great time of it. Please welcome your 2026 Northeast Person of Leather, slave sunflower.
We ask that you support slave sunflower in her personal journey through her title year here in the northeast and as she prepares to compete for 2027 Internation Person of Leather in March of 2027 at SPLF.
Speaking of making things happen, have you seen what Finn, your 2025 Northeast Person of Leather has been up to? Well they have really been blazing a trail and making us all proud!!
Finn, your 2025 Nor
theast Person of Leather, has represented and done dozens (and dozens) of events. Check out Finn's updates and columns from their NEPoL title year. Finn went on to compete for International Person of Leather in March of 2026 at SPLF and became our 2026 International Person of Leather. We couldn't be prouder of Finn for their steadfast dedication to walking their own path, in their own way! An example of a person willing to stand up, show up and do the work of maintaining personal integrity while at the same time building a community that has a place for the whole lot of us. Thank you Finn for your hard work and dedication to your family, yourself and your community. Finn is a wonderful example of what leather leadership looks like.
You are invited, you are wanted and you are welcomed!!
