Framed Original Hellfire / Manhole Club Business Card and Ephemera (1990s) 

An authentic framed business card from the legendary Hellfire / Manhole club era in New York City’s historic Meatpacking District. This original piece dates to the 1990s underground club scene and comes directly from the personal collection of Lenny Waller, a central figure in NYC leather and alternative nightlife history. At the time the meatpacking district was undesirable because it was an area where you could literally smell raw meat. These clubs were meeting places for leather people and anyone who was "in the scene." Hellfire was a full out dungeon. Generations of people found others who were involved and could actually see public scenes. That was relatively new where previously you would have to be in someone's home or in a back room behind a bar to find play. The Manhole club was mostly for gay men and it was a ROCKING sex party. Lenny Waller opened (against all odds) and ran these clubs which fed our communities. He never met someone who wasn't a friend. 

A rare cultural artifact from a pivotal moment in queer nightlife and fetish club history, preserved as a display piece. Ideal for collectors of nightlife ephemera, leather history, or NYC underground culture.
